PRODUCT INSPIRATION
AEGIS ARMOR® is inspired by foldable kayak technology, ensuring portability, durability, and water resistance.
USER-DESIGNED
AEGIS ARMOR® is created by a wheelchair user for wheelchair users. The system uses hook and loop tape attachments to promote independent installation as much as possible. It is also under 5 pounds and comes with a carry-on size backpack to ensure portability between flights.
ON THE HORIZON
Phase one of the development of AEGIS ADAPTIVE® is focused on the development of AEGIS ARMOR® for manual wheelchairs.
Phase two of AEGIS ADAPTIVE® product development will include the introduction of AEGIS POWER. We are also currently at work on designs for AEGIS STRIDE that will protect walkers and folding wheelchairs and AEGIS ROAM that will protect scooters.
